Sunday

We have been going to the farmers market in our neighborhood after church on sunday. Abby gets to pick out some flowers to take home. If you can't tell she loves to be outside. I am so excited for her to be a big sister. I think she is going to be such a great help! It is very weird for me to think she is no longer the baby.

BB's visit

My mom came to visit last weekend and we had such a blast! Abby put on lipstick and lotion with BB. She followed my mom all over the place. We will see her again very soon after Jack is born. We really miss her!

Good Morning!!

Jack at 28 weeks

we went to the ob on wednesday night. Jack looks great! He opened and closed his eyes and moved his eye around to see what was going on. I also got to see him practice a little breathing. He opened his hand to give us a little wave, or he was telling us he wanted out of the light. I am measuring a week to two weeks bigger. When I was pregnant with Abby I measured two weeks behind, so I am a little nervous about having a big baby. At about 9 each night he soes aerobics inside my belly so Guy really gets to feel him. Abby really only moved like that early in the morning and in the middle of the night. I am not sleeping well...so sad. Between the heartburn, going to the bathroom, and leg cramps I just can't get to sleep. At least I will be ready to stay up all night with Jack. we are all very excited and nervous for this sweet bundle of joy to grace us with his presence.

Potty training

Abby has been potty training for the last couple of weeks. Abby is a very strong independent child, so I was really nervous about all of this. she has actually done ok. She is only in a diaper for nap and at night. She is dry with about two mistakes a week. We got some dora panies and that has been a hit. I have been telling her not to pee on dora...I know that is horrible but it has worked. Guy got her a book about dora going on the potty and that seems to have done some good. I know there will be some regression when jack gets here, but so far so good. I am so proud of her! I am really sad because it means she is getting older, and I miss my baby.

Playing dress up

Abby loves to dress up. She will go into my closet and get heels out to walk around. She also gets a shirt of mine and we put it on like a dress. She thinks this is awesome. I can barely walk on 5 inch heels....I don't know how she does it.

26 weeks

So this is me at 26 weeks. I am as big as i was with Abby at 8 months. My sweet little boy is growing like a weed. I went to the doctor two weeks ago and everything was great. The baby was moving around non stop...sounds a little like abby.

We went to the farmers market in williamsburg before we left on saturday morning. Abby got this enormous cookie on a stick. It was so so good.

Dinner with firends

We went out to eat with friends from Williamsburg on Friday night. Guy new them when he was in med school living in williamsburg. Abby is in love with their daughter Gabrielle. Abby kept touching her arm during dinner and trying to share her food and sprite.

My Daddy

Abby calls Guy my daddy now. Abby is so in love with him!! All weekend she wanted daddy.

Colonial Williamsburg

we went to colonial williamsburg in the morning on the 4th. Abby got to see the cows and run around. It was so hot and humid we ended up going back to the room after an early lunch for a nap.

Ice Cream

We went to this cute general store in Williamsburg after dinner. Abby got some ice cream, but she was so tired she couldn't finish it.

Yorktown beach

we went to Yorktown, VA on the 3rd of July. They have a man made beach on the York River. Abby had a blast in the water and the sand. It was so nice to get out of town for a couple of days.

Gardening

Abby goes up to the flower bed everyday to do a little digging. She is such a big help!!!

IT'S A BOY!!!!!!

We are so excited to announce we are having a boy! I am so excited to get to experience a little boy. Everything is great and he is growing well. I have been able to feel him move since about 16 weeks. Guy has been able to feel him a couple of times. I forgot how much I love that feeling. I put at ease each time I feel something. We are a little nervous to have a boy since we feel like we know what to do with a girl. I am really getting apprehensive to have two little ones in my house. I know it will be here before you know it. We have thought about names and we are pretty sure his name is going to be Jack, but are not for sure on the middle name. I go back to the doctor next week so I will update and put a picture up.

My Sweet husband

My husband is the best in the world!!! I can't tell him thanks enough for all his help! He is such a great husband and awesom daddy. I would not make it through my day without him. We had such a great weekend. Last night in the tub Abby said tankyou for bowing up the pool daddy, tankyou for kite, tankyou for quesadilla for dinner daddy, tankyou for the bubbles. She went on and on about everything she had done this weekend. She talked about everything her daddy had done for her while I was rocking her to sleep. This morning she heard his footsteps in the kitchen and said I love you daddy. What a special treat to start the day. I have such a great family!!!
