CONGRATS!!!

Brian and Courtney had their baby!! They are our good friends from DC. They had a baby girl named Gianna. She weighed 6 pounds 11 ounces and was 19 inches long. We are so excited for them. I can't wait for our girls to play together. Congrats Brian and Courtney! We miss you both.

Saturday

We went down the street to a friends for a little get together on Saturday afternoon. Abby got a new outfit for the party. As you can see she is about to pass out she is so tired.

Our House

We did so much yard work over the last few weekends I wanted to show off our house.

We went to our 2 month doctor visit yesterday. she got her shots and made it very clear she did not appreciate them one bit. I gave her tylenol every six hours yesterday to prevent a fever and help with the sore legs. I was really expecting her to be crabby, but she was a very sweet girl all afternoon. She laid in mey lap and held my hand while she took a really good nap. Abby weighed 12lb 6 oz and her height was 22 inches. She is in the 90th % on weight and the 75% on height. She is meeting her developmental milestones so far. Our doctor wasn't there so we had to meet with a nurse practitioner. He came into the room and didn't even introduce himself....needless to say it went downhill from there. I am not really sure if he went to nursing school. He did the worst assessment i have ever seen. I would go on and on but i won't bore you. I got home and wrote a very detailed letter about our visit to his boss. NOBODY MESSES WITH MOMMA!!! Guy and I know she is just fine, so we are not going to go in for another visit. She started interacting with us about two weeks ago. She will smile and chirp and make all these new faces. It really is so much fun to play with her! She has started developing a good schedule. She gets a bath, massage, about 45 minutes of rocking and reading a book then she goes down about 7. She still gets crabby when she is tired, but who isn't. We started calling her C.A.(crabby abby). Her usual nickname is peanut which she giggles to when i say it. All in all we are doing great. I can't wait to come to Jackson in June. I really miss everybody!

Easter Weekend

Abby was a trooper getting the sweater on Guy's mom gave her for easter. It was about 90 degrees and there were a couple of screams while I got her arms in the sleeves, but she hung in there for the pictures. I had to make ridiculous faces at her to get her to smile.

Bath Time

Abby and I took a bath this afternoon, and she had a blast.

March 17th

Well I think we are turning a corner on sleeping at night. She is starting to sleep for 3 hours at a time!! We have started walking every morning which has made me feel so much better. Abby is usually asleep during our walk, so I get some good quiet time. Abby has been invited to join a playgroup on Tuesday morning's. She doesn't do much but stare, gurgle, and grunt. I am sure she will be a big hit at playgroup. Unfortunately Abby has not gotten better with the fussy episodes. I have nicknamed her " Queen Fussarella" She is the most stubborn child. On Wednesday and Thursday she was up from 11 in the morning to 9 at night crying about every 15 minutes. She will be almost asleep and then will her eyes back open and start screaming. The evening's are generally a fussy time everyday. She is cranky and hungry. She will eat about every hour until she goes to sleep. It can be very frustrating, but well worth the because she stops screaming when she is eating. She seems to be growing like a weed. Some of her 3-6mo clothes are already fitting. I am amazed at how many of her newborn clothes she can't wear anymore. All in all she is my sweet baby. I am so blessed to have this family! I look at Abby everyday and get a little teary at how lucky I am to have her in my life.
