The next step

I was thinking last night about how much Guy and I have gone through in the first year of our marriage and it was a little crazy. We got married, found out we were pregnant, bought a house, moved to Illinois, Guy got a new job, got a rescue dog, got two rescue cats, had Abby, and now we are selling a house and moving back to DC. We went through about every life change you can go through in a year...not to mention the first year of our marriage. I am so lucky to have met Guy and married him. I love my husband so so very much! He has become my rock and I could not get through each day without him. Our family is very lucky to have him as a Dad, husband, and provider. I don't think I tell him enough how much he is appreciated, but he really is. We love you very much Guy!!! I know the next step in our life ( moving back to DC) will be a little challenging but so much fun.

THIS WEEKEND

please go to sleep!!!!

She is looking at Guy saying please don't take this picture we are both a little tired from cleaning up and not looking our best.

I thought she was all ready for bed, but I thought wrong. She just had to play with her rattle one last time before she went to sleep. What a determined little thing she has become.
How many toy's can I play with at one time. She always gets her teething ring stuck on her arm.

WE ARE MOVING!!!!!!

We found out last week that we will be moving back to D.C. They really need a Urologist at Andrew's AFB, so they are sending us. We are so excited to move back to the city. We are also sad to leave our new friends and neighborhood. Abby is most excited to spend lots of time with her godmother aka... Aunt Jodie. I have been cleaning the house top to bottom in hopes to get the house on the market this week. We are crossing our fingers we don't have a problem. We think we will be moving around the end of september. We should be there for the next three years. I am very excited for Abby to be in a culturaly diverse place as she grows up. There is going to be so much for her to do and to learn over the next three years. This is a really great thing for Guy and his carrer. Please keep your fingers crossed that our house sells quickly.

Abby's 4 month's

Abby had her 4 month check up last Thursday. I really can't believe she is already 4 months. She weighed 15.5 pounds and height was 25.5. She is still hanging out in the 95%, and we are so proud of our big baby. She had to get three shots at the end of her appt. She was a little fussy through the day, but who wouldn't be. She had a huge red knot where her shots were given, and she had a temp of 101.7 that night. She just had a look like she did not feel good. She continued to have a temp throughout Friday, and then she was all better by Saturday. Abby is such a great baby. She is mostly sleeping through the night with a couple of night time feedings. She has started sleeping on her stomach which makes me a little nervous, but the doctor said it was ok. She has really started to enjoy playing with her toys which is really fun to watch. We are really having a good time with her.

Abby rolled over yesterday!! I was so excited I think i freaked her out clapping so loud. She had been rolling on her side all week, and then i turned around yesterday to watch her in action. She gets so happy when she gets over she rolls back and forth everytime she is on the floor. Below is a bit of an action photo..sorry you can't see her face.
